GAME VIEWING FROM MARLOTH PARK:
Do your own early morning and sunset game drive / sundowner - or
hike - along the Crocodile river bordering the Kruger Park. Because of
the electrified fence, you can get out of your vehicle and walk around
to get a better view. You will be amazed how many animals you will
see! Regular sightings include elephant, buffalo, rhino, lion, hippo,
giraffe, crocodile and many antelope and bird species. All the photos
on the slide show were taken from the look-out points and/or paths
bordering the Crocodile river.
VISIT TO THE KRUGER PARK:
Go for a day visit to the Kruger National Park. Crocodile Bridge and
Malelane entrance gates are only 30 minutes drive. It is a easy drive
to Onder Sabie camp, in time for breakfast. Follow the route on the
banks of the Sabie river to Skukuza. A visit to the bird hide is a must
see! From there you can explore the Park through many different
routes back to Crocodile Bridge or Malelane gate. There is picnic
spots on your route, where you can stop for lunch (gas braais
available). This is BIG FIVE country, and you should see at least 4 of
the big 5 in a day’s visit, with a great possibility to see all five. This
Southern part of the Kruger Park is known for the highest density of
game in the Park.
